on to Moab

The races are over and we’re heading out tonight. It’ll be about a four hour drive. Between the first and second race, we went cowgirl hat shopping, so Ingrid and I are all set for hot hot weather. Ingrid just said goodbye to her new best friend, Alyssa. They hugged sweetly and Alyssa gave Ingrid a pair of cool rocks that she’d collected.

All in all it was a very fun stay here in Tooele. Our spot couldn’t have been better, literally right alongside the racetrack. We saw some brave souls go out on the racetrack last night and Andrew seized the opportunity to try out the track on his DR. Ingrid had a blast riding her bike and playing with her friend. I actually read a whole book!!! Pluto didn’t make it out much, he slept through the weekend. Ginger and Otto didn’t like the noise (I didn’t at times either) but they had fun running out in the open and checking out the crazy camping scene. The fireworks were a bit much but thankfully they didn’t last long.

We’re excited about Moab. Ingrid can’t wait because there’s a pool at the RV park. I’m dying to go river rafting and Andrew’s looking forward to some mountain biking. Since the trailey is “in” again, we’ll be able to venture out together too. They’re packing without me, so I’d better go before I get busted at my computer.
