Ingrid has been taking Peach everywhere lately, and dressing her the same. She’s been asking me to make clothes for Peach, which can also be worn by several of her other kids.
It’s not difficult to make them, but I am super busy these days. So I was really happy to see that this first set I made a year ago still fits. And I had to take a picture in case this is the last time.
Ingrid has made various robots, and this is her latest. She’s a bit more advanced than Lo-Lea or Todo were, because she can move on her roller skate.
Yesterday, Ingrid decided that Goldie needs a better way to move. She wanted daddy to help her build a real robot but he had to work so instead we hit some thrift stores and bought a remote control truck. She’s going to mount her robot on it soon. But in the meantime, everyone from the stuffed animals to the Barbies to the Polly Pockets has been joy riding in the monster truck. Now she is loading Rapunzel into the truck…
I’m super into sewing again all of a sudden, and I feel really behind. There are so many projects I want to finish before we go to Hawaii…
Here’s a dress I made for my lovey last week. It was my first time shirring and I’m happy with how it came out. I had to play around with it a while but now I think I have it.
I broke my own rule and bought a bunch of beautiful fabrics so the next several projects i won’t have to try to find a fabric store.

The Oshkosh air show is still getting setup, the planes and RVs are streaming in, it’s going to be a crazy week.
