Friday, September 30th, 2011It’s barely October and we’ve got our spirit on already. Halloween costumes are in the garage, Ingrid is dressing up like a witch, and we’ve started decking out the place. That last one is a full-sized Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter. She’s going to haunt our toilet for a few weeks.
Katy Trail
Wednesday, September 28th, 2011we moved to St. Charles after we maxed out our stay at Babler State Park, it’s spendier, but on the upside we’re right in the Katy Trail.

Going to School
Tuesday, September 27th, 2011Sometimes Ingrid likes to pack up her Yoda and pretend she’s riding the bus to school. The bus is in the office and daddy is the driver.
Once she and Peach get to school, Lo Lea the robot teacher takes over. I like Lo Lea, because she gets Ingrid to do her math with no fussing.
Today there’s also some Spanish vocabulary, drawing mermaids and fairies, and making strawberry pie. Between rolling the dough and baking the crust, we’ll bike/ jog to the dog park which is just 10 minutes up the trail from here. And that will wrap up formal homeschool for today.
