“Syncro” in the world of VW’s means four wheel drive. The first time I learned of the syncro vanagon I wanted one.

These albums document some of the mods and upgrades I’ve made to our ‘86 syncro known as “Vanny”. We lifted it, upgraded the brakes, redid the interior, added a sunroof, fabricated a skid plate and rear rack, upgraded the lights, added a Ford Focus motor, and much much more. It’s a fun little beast that turns heads wherever we go. It’s been a lot of fun having something that is such a head turner and icebreaker, we have met many colorful people because of Vanny.
